Location

Hájenka mountain hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet surroundings of Veľký Javorník mountain, in the vicinity of the Kysucké Beskydy mountains, within the municipality of Makov, Kasárne locality. The hotel is situated almost at the Slovak-Czech state border.

This locality is often referred to as a climatic spa, since the combination of intact nature and mountain air is predetermined to provide the right setting for relaxation.

The hotel has an ideal position - with its closeness to ridges of the Javorníky mountains and forests of the Beskydy mountains it offers ample opportunities for hiking and cycling on both the Slovak and the Czech sides of the border. During the summer season, visitors can admire nature's beauties while either hiking or riding a horse, or spend time doing a range of other sporting and leisure activities. During the winter season, the locality offers great conditions for downhill skiing as well as numerous cross-country skiing trails in the surroundings.
